SEA-LNG WELCOMES ROYAL CARIBBEAN GROUP

SEA-LNG COO Steve Esau was delighted to welcome Lana Piterova as Royal Caribbean Group’s representative to the company’s first Members’ meeting since joining SEA-LNG. SEA-LNG hosted nearly sixty senior commercial representatives from over half of its global membership base of major influential “first mover” companies for a full-day workshop followed by dinner in Amsterdam.

Held biannually these meetings give members the chance to hear directly from experts on topics spanning technology, regulation and investment, as well as enabling members to meet and share ideas. In today’s digital world, such in-person gatherings help generate the creative sparks that lead to the innovative solutions of tomorrow.

SEA-LNG members are leading the decarbonisation of shipping through innovative technologies as well as new marine fuels. Members heard about the latest technical breakthroughs in engineering in terms of engine design and methane slip abatement, as well as plans for new e-methane production facilities due to be operational within two years to help drive the industry towards net zero.
