SEA-LNG Statement on LNG compatibility with Onshore Power Supply (OPS)
SEA-LNG is aware of the recent study by CE Delft which analyses secondary published sources, and not onboard measurements, so does not represent the operational realities of LNG-powered container ship compatibility with Onshore Power Supply (OPS).
There is significant real-world operational evidence—every day and around the world—that proves LNG-powered ships can and do routinely use OPS when alongside in port.
